Role and Responsibilities

The City of West Park encourages you to get involved in the decision making process on matters relating to our community by volunteering to serve on an advisory Committee and/or Board. Members of the City’s advisory Committees and/or Boards are appointed by the City Commission, and their primary role is to meet, research, report their findings and make recommendations to the City Commission as required.

Composition

Each advisory Committee or Board is composed of appointed members who volunteer their time and service. Meetings are conducted with the assistance and coordination of staff liaisons. The composition of each Board or Committee and terms of service vary and are dictated by the respective Ordinance.
